I've noticed some recent chatter on "The Web" about Vitamin D that I think needs to be cleared up.
Apparently some "experts" in "THE SCIENCE CORNER" are still trying to figure out what Vitamin D means. I understand that it may be a difficult concept to understand. "D" is normally just another letter, or a consonant to be more specific.
What makes the letter "D" special in this case is the word "Vitamin". To understand the meaning of Vitamin we can look at the words that combine to form it: vital (as in, necessary for life) and mine (as in, that shit is mine and I don't want to share it).
So a Vitamin is simply something that we all need to live and we don't want to share.
Now for the "D" part of the Vitamin D... Well, Vitamin D is involved in Calcium metabolism in our bodies. Yes, the sun and rickets are both terms that relate to Vitamin D, but you all really don't have to worry about them. Unless you're some freak who eats cardboard and never ventures outside, you should be fine.

Well, actually if you don't mind eating cardboard and don't like the sun, becoming deficient in Vitamin D will give you pretty flexible leg bones and allow you to impress your friends by rocking your turn on the mechanical bull.
Trust me... I'm a doctor.
